Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to work remotely at a rate of $17 per hour starting on 4/16/26.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to prescription refill requests through various communication channels
• Verify the validity and accuracy of prescription refill requests and prepare them for dispensing
• Provide administrative support to clinical staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Certification as a Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants or as a Registered Medical Assistant by the American Medical Technologists
• At least 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or medical office environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medications
• Strong computer experience, including proficiency in Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Outlook and Word
