Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant to support the clinical team in providing member care through education, counseling, and clinical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming messages and ensure timely follow-up in the message center
• Prepare clinical charts and manage prior authorization requests for member appointments
• Update patient medical records and collaborate on clinical workflows

Required Qualifications

• Active Medical Assistant certification (preferred through the American Association of Medical Assistants)
• Clinical experience serving the trans and queer communities
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse groups
• Dedication to the mission of informed consent and patient empowerment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
