Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Triage Medical Assistant to join their Remote Triage Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound patient communications via phone and secure messaging
• Collect and document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Guide patients through appropriate next steps using pre-approved clinical triage protocols

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a healthcare setting such as primary care or community health
• Prior telehealth, remote triage, or virtual care support experience preferred
• Excellent computer proficiency and experience with EMRs (Epic, Cerner, Greenway, etc.)
• Deep commitment to patient privacy and empathetic service
