Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (TEMP).

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate virtual appointments and collect healthcare information from patients
• Coordinate treatment with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team
• Support staff with vital sign collection, managing medical records, and patient inquiries

Required Qualifications and Education

• At least 1 year of experience related to the duties of the position
• Minimum of two years' experience in a medical setting or one year in a behavioral health setting
• Graduate and completion of an approved Medical Assistant Program
• Prior experience in behavioral health and/or with an elderly population is preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish-English or Haitian-Creole) preferred
