Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant to support the Chronic Care Management Program by providing clinical and administrative assistance to the care delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients by conducting intake and confirmation calls, and coordinating visit schedules
• Track patient admissions and discharges, document updates in the EMR, and support transitions of care
• Provide operational and clinical support to primary care teams, including managing clinical inbox and processing medication refills

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 1+ years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
• Familiarity with EMR systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
