Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage patients to address health needs and facilitate navigation of medical and social systems
• Coordinate care by assisting with referrals, appointment scheduling, and communication between patients and providers
• Document interactions and maintain accurate records in electronic health systems

Required Qualifications

• Active and current Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
• 3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and primary care workflows
• Familiarity with motivational interviewing and patient education principles
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
