Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality, member-centered care remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Community Health Worker appointment documentation for accuracy and escalate issues to the nurse case manager
• Support care coordination activities, including scheduling follow-up appointments and communication with members or caregivers
• Maintain patient records within the electronic health record (EHR) system and ensure compliance with HIPAA policies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) required
• 2 years of experience in a medical office, telehealth, or care coordination setting
• Experience using EHR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks
• Experience working with older adult populations preferred
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
