Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant to support the medical team and patients in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient enrollment and engagement in the Heart Failure Program and other care management programs
• Manage telehealth scheduling and facilitate patient follow-up after hospital discharge
• Provide patient-centric care, including medication reconciliation and coordinating lab tests and referrals

Required Qualifications and Background

• Certified Medical Assistant through a recognized certification exam within one year of issuance
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 3 months of experience in a medical office setting preferred
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
• Basic knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 coding procedures
