Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant to provide medication support and ensure effective communication with members and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between members, providers, and pharmacies to troubleshoot prescription issues
• Field inbounds from members regarding medication-related concerns and ensure understanding of prescriptions and next steps
• Assist with medication reconciliation and maintain accurate medication records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a CMA or RMA in a MOUD or MAT medication-assisted treatment program
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a telehealth behavioral health or substance use treatment setting
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, medications, and healthcare practices
• Experience with EHR systems and pharmacy coordination
• Medical Assistant Certification recognized as a CMA or RMA by a national organization
