Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare initiative, the remote Certified Medical Assistant will assist patients with enrollment in healthcare programs, ensuring accurate documentation and providing compassionate consultations while working on a 1099 basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Guide patients through the enrollment process for healthcare programs, ensuring accurate documentation
• Conduct comprehensive consultations to gather information and explain program benefits and requirements
• Monitor enrollment applications and collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate the process

Required qualifications:

• Active certification as a Medical Assistant from a nationally accredited institution
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and at least two of Hindi, Gujarati, or Punjabi
• Demonstrated empathy and compassion in patient interactions
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and technology proficiency
