Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

To support high-quality, member-centered care, the full-time remote Certified Medical Assistant will improve clinical outcomes, assist in care coordination, and enhance the experience for older adults and their caregivers.

Key responsibilities

• Review Community Health Worker appointment documentation for accuracy and escalate issues to the nurse case manager
• Support care coordination activities, including scheduling follow-up appointments and communicating with members or caregivers
• Maintain and update patient records within the electronic health record (EHR) system while ensuring compliance with HIPAA policies

Required qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) required
• 2 years of experience in a medical office, telehealth, or care coordination setting
• Experience using EHR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks
• Experience working with older adult populations preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
