Job Summary

Supporting a clinical team in delivering virtual-first primary care, the full-time Certified Medical Assistant will manage patient coordination tasks, assist with follow-ups, and facilitate communication through a chat-based platform in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with patient coordination, including pharmacy communication, referrals, and scheduling
• Document tasks and communications accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Participate in team huddles and quality initiatives while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards

Required qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years of medical assistant experience and 1 year of telemedicine experience
• Proficient in telehealth platforms and EHR systems
• Able to work weekends and assigned holidays as part of the regular schedule
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
