Certified Medical Assistant, Bilingual

Job Summary

To support patient healthcare needs, the full-time Certified Medical Assistant, Bilingual will manage prescription refill requests, verify their accuracy, and provide exceptional customer service while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and respond to prescription refill requests through various communication channels
• Verify the validity and accuracy of prescription refill requests to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Compile and analyze data to track key performance indicators related to prescription refill processing

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year experience in a retail pharmacy
• Extensive knowledge of Medicare Part D, including pharmacy record review and claims processing
• Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules and CMS security requirements
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license and a nationally recognized Medical Assistant certificate required
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, including reading, writing, and speaking skills
