Certified Medical Assistant Team Lead

Job Summary

Providing leadership and support, the full-time Medical Assistant Team Lead will coordinate daily staff activities, serve as a subject matter expert for medical assistants, and assist with onboarding and training while working onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for operational questions and workflow challenges for assigned medical assistants
• Support the rollout of new processes and provide feedback on adoption challenges to leadership
• Conduct spot audits of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance

Required qualifications

• 4+ years' experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Current CMA/CCMA/RMA Certificate or completion of a CAAHEP accredited medical assisting program
• Demonstrated leadership potential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Software, EMR systems, and virtual meeting programs
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction at all levels
