Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant, Bilingual.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and respond to prescription refill requests through various communication channels
Verify the validity and accuracy of prescription refill requests and prepare refills following protocols
Provide administrative support to clinical staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes

Required Qualifications

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
At least 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy
Extensive knowledge of Medicare Part D and HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license and a nationally recognized Medical Assistant certificate required
