Certified Medical Biller

Job Summary

To support billing operations, the full-time Certified Medical Biller will process and audit insurance claims, rebill denied claims, and resolve billing discrepancies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Processes and submits insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payer requirements
• Identifies and resolves claim errors, denials, and rejections, taking corrective action as needed
• Mentors junior billing staff, sharing expertise in claim resolution and billing requirements

Required qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in a related field preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in medical billing or insurance claims processing required
• Experience with hospital or physician billing preferred
• Proficiency in electronic claims management systems and medical coding standards
• CPB - Certified Medical Biller preferred
