Certified Medical Billing Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Billing Manager responsible for overseeing billing operations and managing a team of employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee best practices for quality assurance in billing operations
• Manage billing specifications for client payers, including staff training and resource provision
• Conduct routine audits of claim submissions and assist with charge entry and claim rejections

Required Qualifications

• COC, CPC, or CASCC certification preferred; candidates without certification must obtain it within one year
• 2-5 years of medical billing experience, preferably in Orthopedic/Pain Management/Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with SIS, Vision, AdvantX, or Waystar is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of healthcare billing procedures, regulations, and payment cycles
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
