A company is looking for a Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures by reviewing medical documentation
• Ensure correct code selection and compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Review coding for accuracy and completeness before submission to billing

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Coding experience
• Experience with Professional Fee Coding and EHR systems
• Accepted certifications from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., RHIT, RHIA, CCA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC)
