Certified Medical Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CVIR Medical Coder - National Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign appropriate CPT and ICD-10 Codes for Interventional Radiology and various medical encounters
• Review and code clinical notes to ensure compliance with coding guidelines
• Collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams to resolve coding-related issues and maintain coding performance standards

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Professional coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC
• 2+ years of Interventional Radiology coding experience
• 2+ years of outpatient facility coding experience
• Proficiency in using a PC in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Excel and EMR systems
