Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure patients complete relevant tests and screenings according to NCQA HEDIS recommendations
• Engage patients in care by scheduling appointments and educating them on their insurance benefits
• Assist with medication refills and fulfill various requests made by the health plan

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in a health plan or large provider practice
• Knowledge of Medicare, Commercial, and Medicaid Risk Adjustment programs
• Certified Risk Adjustment Coder Certification
• Experience with electronic medical records and medical coding terminology
