Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Review provider claims with medical records for the SIU prepayment team
• Ensure properly coded claims in accordance with AMA and industry standards
• Provide technical support and guidance on coding and billing issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 3 years of experience in risk adjustment coding, ambulatory coding, or CRC coding
• Knowledge of billing practices and medical terminology
• Accreditations such as CPC, CPMA, or COC through AAPC
• Experience in revenue cycle management and value-based reimbursement models
