Certified Medical Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder - National Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform code reviews on professional and facility claims based on assigned provider inquiries
• Abstract and code diagnoses and procedures from medical records, ensuring compliance with coding standards
• Conduct ongoing analysis of medical record charts and document information as required

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• Active coding certification (CPC, CPC-A, COC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, RHIA, or RHIT)
• 1+ years of experience in medical coding with CPT
• 1+ years of experience in medical coding with ICD-10
