Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure patients complete all relevant tests and screenings according to NCQA HEDIS recommendations
• Engage patients by scheduling appointments and educating them on their insurance plans
• Assist with medication refills and fulfill requests for patient charts and clinical information

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in a health plan or large provider practice
• Knowledge of Medicare, Commercial, and Medicaid Risk Adjustment programs
• Certified Risk Adjustment Coder Certification
• Experience with electronic medical records and medical terminology
