Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Validation Coder I.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily audits on provider appeals for completeness and accuracy based on coding guidelines
• Utilize client-specific coding guidelines and stay current on relevant coding standards
• Communicate findings and suggestions to the Team Lead to support efficient department operations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Nationally certified medical coder (CPC, CCS, etc.) required
• 1-2 years of medical coding experience, specifically in CPC coding
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines
