Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder (PNR) - Part Time/Occasional.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coding of medical records and supporting documentation according to coding guidelines
• Meet quality and productivity standards while managing account and claim data attributes
• Address coding issues and assist with client audits and billing questions as needed

Required Qualifications

• AAPC or AHIMA certification required (e.g., CPC, CPC-H, CCS, or CCS-P)
• Two years of medical coding, billing, and management experience preferred
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and coding policy changes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, and Excel
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
