Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder Compliance Spec.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform coding quality audits on outpatient records to ensure compliance with coding guidelines
• Provide ongoing feedback and training to coding staff to enhance coding accuracy
• Develop and implement educational programs regarding coding compliance and documentation standards

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience
• Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), or equivalent
• Three years of experience in coding or auditing CPT and ICD-10-CM
• Extensive knowledge of federal and state regulations related to documentation and coding
