Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and analyze patient records to determine correct codes
• Accurately code for specialty services and submit clean claims for payment
• Monitor and correct claim denials, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Certification by AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC)
• 3 years of professional coding experience
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Experience with EMR systems and multi-specialty procedures
