Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for compliance and optimal reimbursement
• Maintain accuracy in coding and documentation for inpatient and outpatient records
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate medical record completion and coding

Required Qualifications

• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent with relevant acute care coding experience
• Formal training in ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Basic computer skills and coding experience
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety standards
