Certified Medical Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder - Spine & Ortho.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coding of medical records and supporting documentation
• Assign ICD-10, CPT, and modifiers in accordance with coding guidelines
• Review and respond to AR tasks related to coding and post-submission denials

Required Qualifications

• AAPC or AHIMA certification required (CPC, CPC-H, CCS, or CCS-P)
• Two years of spinal coding, billing, and management experience preferred
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, and Excel
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
