Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder (Profee).

Key Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Ensure compliance with coding regulations and collaborate with healthcare providers for clarification
• Perform coding audits and maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and guidelines

Required Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
• Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required
• 1-5 years of experience in profee medical coding preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Proficiency in coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
