Certified Medical Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Medical Coder to join their team in a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier codes based on medical documentation
• Ensure compliance with CMS, payer-specific, and regulatory coding guidelines
• Conduct internal coding audits and support quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Current Certification from AHIMA or AAPC
• Completed ICD10 Certification/Training preferred
• 2+ years of experience coding Primary Care or Urgent Care reports
• Experience working with coding denials
• High school diploma or equivalent
