Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzes and codes claim information accurately and in a timely manner
• Responsible for ensuring quality data and timely review through written explanations
• Completes assigned work to meet or exceed department benchmarks in accordance with industry standards

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Certified Coder: CPC, COC, CCS, or other applicable coding certification required
• 6+ months of experience with professional billing and coding reimbursement
• 6+ months of knowledge of medical terminology
• Access to a designated quiet workspace with secure handling of Protected Health Information (PHI)
