Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder, Multi-Specialty Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coding of medical records and assign ICD-10, CPT, and modifiers in accordance with coding guidelines
• Meet quality and productivity standards while addressing inconsistencies in medical data and responding to AR tasks
• Ensure confidentiality of clinical data and assist with client billing questions and audits as needed

Required Qualifications

• AAPC or AHIMA certification required (e.g., CPC, CPC-H, CCS, or CCS-P)
• Two years of medical coding, billing, and management experience preferred
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, and Excel
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
