Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of patient medical records for accurate medical coding related to Medicare Part C appeals
• Perform audits and coding reviews to ensure compliance with legal requirements and accuracy of documentation
• Identify discrepancies in coding and documentation and ensure services billed are supported by clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Medical Coding Certification (e.g., CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CPMA)
• Completion of a medical coding training program with certification
• 2 years of medical coding experience, including familiarity with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Resided in the United States for a minimum of three (3) years out of the last five (5) years
