Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder - Provider Practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation and assign appropriate codes (ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT)
• Support providers in understanding documentation requirements and coding compliance
• Participate in coding team meetings and serve as a subject matter expert

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate degree in Health Information Technology or Certification in Coding required
• Knowledge of diagnostic and procedural terminology
• Successful coursework in ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding schemes preferred
• Relevant certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CPC-A, CCS, CCS-P, CCS-H, or COC required
• Certification must be obtained within one year of hire if not certified at the time of hire
