Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes for E/M and surgical services, adhering to coding guidelines
• Analyze and correct CCI Edits and Medical Necessity Edits during the coding process
• Provide documentation feedback to providers and participate in departmental meetings and educational events

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Professional CPC coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC, maintained annually
• At least 2 years of coding experience in E/M and surgical coding
