Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize expert knowledge in facility outpatient coding types and assign appropriate ICD-10 Codes, CPT, and modifiers
• Maintain coding quality and productivity standards while adhering to ethical coding practices
• Participate in educational events and maintain up-to-date coding knowledge

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Professional coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC
• 2+ years of experience with ICD-10, CPT, and facility charging
• 2+ years of experience in outpatient surgery coding in a facility setting
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and various EMR systems
