Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder, Provider Practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation and assign appropriate codes (ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT)
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, regulations, and company procedures
• Support providers in understanding covered indications and documentation requirements

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate degree in Health Information Technology or Certification in Coding required
• Knowledge of diagnostic and procedural terminology, including ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding schemes
• Certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CPC-A, CCS, CCS-P, CCS-H, or COC required
• Successful coursework in medical terminology or human anatomy/physiology preferred
• Certification must be obtained within one year of hire if not already certified
