Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Billing, Coding and Denial Specialist with CareVue experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes for inpatient and outpatient services
• Prepare and submit UB-04/837I and CMS-1500/837P claims, ensuring compliance with payer-specific rules
• Review and analyze claim denials, correct errors, and prepare appeals as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hospital medical billing and coding experience
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a hospital setting is highly desirable
• Extensive experience with Emergency Room medical billing and coding
• Active certification as CPC or CCS preferred
• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT/HCPCS coding, and familiarity with hospital billing systems
