Job Summary

To support accurate coding practices, the full-time Professional Production Coder will assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes to professional services while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and payer requirements in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes to professional services in accordance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Interpret clinical documentation and assign appropriate codes and modifiers to ensure optimal reimbursement
• Act as a liaison to ancillary departments and physicians, providing coding expertise and resolving discrepancies

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of coding experience required
• AAPC or AHIMA Coding Certification(s) required
