Certified Medical Coder

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Certified Medical Coder will perform coding reviews, abstract diagnoses, and ensure compliance with coding standards while working remotely across the U.S.

Key responsibilities:

• Receive and review provider inquiries for professional and facility claims coding
• Abstract and code diagnoses and procedures from medical records while ensuring compliance
• Document and analyze medical records for proper coding and compliance

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Active coding certification (CPC, CPC-A, COC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, RHIA, or RHIT)
• 1+ years of medical coding experience with CPT
• 1+ years of medical coding experience with ICD-10
