Certified Medical Coder (CPC)

Job Summary

To support a strategic benefit digitization initiative, the remote Certified Medical Coder (CPC) will implement standardized coding practices, maintain procedure and service code groupings, and ensure compliance with regulatory mandates while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Apply formal coding standards to interpret and digitize benefit structures
• Develop and maintain groupings of procedures and service codes for accurate benefit alignment
• Ensure coding aligns with regulatory mandates and provide expert guidance to project teams

Required qualifications

• Active Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from AAPC or AHIMA
• 3+ years of experience with coding and reimbursement methodologies (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, CMS)
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Bachelor's Degree
