Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Hospital Certified Medical Coder III, remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate coding of patient services for proper reimbursement
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support quality patient care
• Maintain coding quality and productivity in accordance with departmental policies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate degree in health information technology or related field, or equivalent experience
• Preferred bachelor's degree
• Six years of hospital-based coding experience
• Current coding certification (CPC, COC, CIC, CCS, or CCS-P) required
• Ability to pass a coding exam with at least 85% accuracy prior to hire
