Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder (Cert) - HIM Ops (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare statistical reports and code diseases and operations according to classification systems
• Maintain indices according to established policies and procedures
• Ensure accurate coding of Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, and ASC charts

Required Qualifications

• Graduate as RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CCS from an approved program
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience
• Ability to code OP/ER/ASC and/or Inpatient charts
• Computer proficiency and knowledge of ICD 9-CM/CPT coding
• Preferred certifications: RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPC
