Certified Medical Coding Audit Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Audit Manager - Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of external coding audit processes and auditor activities
• Track and monitor auditor performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement audit processes and workflows while maintaining documentation

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Certification in coding (e.g., COC, CCS, CPC, RHIT, RHIA)
• Minimum of 5 years of acute care hospital coding experience
• 3 years of documented experience in managing coding audits
• Experience with multiple EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
