Certified Medical Coding Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Auditor to perform verification of charges and review claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify charges and review claims for accuracy
• Generate preliminary audit results and create audit reports
• Collaborate with clients to ensure compliance and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) with a minimum of two years of experience
• Experience in ProFee auditing; extensive HCC experience will not be considered
• Must reside in the US and have employment eligibility
• Experience using NCD/LCD/LCA for medical necessity determinations
• Behavioral Health experience is mandatory
