Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and audit documentation and coding across multiple specialties for accuracy
• Deliver audit reports and provide education to providers regarding compliance opportunities
• Support coders with coding responsibilities as needed to align with team priorities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 3-5 years of coding experience with knowledge of ICD-10, CPT-4, and HCPCS coding
• Current coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., RHIT, CCS, CPC)
• High school diploma or equivalent with additional coursework in coding
• Understanding of billing platforms and revenue cycle processes
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
