Certified Medical Coding Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Manager (Physician and Hospital Coding).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the coding operations for physician and hospital services
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the coding team, including performance evaluations and professional development plans
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance while optimizing workflows and processes

Required Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred
• Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS-P) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required
• A minimum of 5-7 years of medical coding experience, with 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Proficiency in coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
