Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Manager (Physician and Hospital Coding).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee coding operations for physician and hospital services
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the coding team, ensuring coding accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve coding-related issues and optimize workflows

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS-P) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required
• 5-7 years of experience in medical coding, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Proficiency in coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
