Certified Medical Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit clean, timely claims with accurate coding and modifiers
• Track and resolve denials, rejections, and underpayments
• Review provider documentation and assign accurate codes

Required Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in physician billing and coding, preferably in pediatrics
• Proficiency with Athena EMR and Microsoft Excel
• Deep understanding of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and Medicaid/commercial payers
• Experience with telehealth billing and quality measures is a plus
